Remi was an abandoned child. He lived with his adoptive mother. They were very poor. When Mr. Vitalis - a tall and burly older man - was in town looking for a young boy to assist him with his traveling circus animals, he recruited Remy. During his travels with Mr. Vitalis and his animals, Remi meets several people one of which will become his best friends.
